Authorization:

They Must have Proper permissions to perform a Perticular tasks, When user connected to server.
Roles are set of privilages for connection server and to access the database.As a database administrator we need to restrict the permissions by generate the roles.
We have 2 types of roles.
- Server role
- Database role
In This Article We Have discuss about Server role when authorization.
Server role :
server role Means it performs server side operations.
We have 8 server roles and by default it will be public role.
- Process admin
- Disk admin
- Security admin
- Server admin
- Sysadmin
- DBcreator
- Setupadmin
- Bulk admin
Processadmin:
- This ProcessHavingThe capacity to kill The problematic process
- It moniters the process executing in the taskbar.
Diskadmin :
- In This Role we Have To Manage disk files Stored in the disk.
Securityadmin:
- In this role, It has the capacity to generate, prevent and delay the permissions
- used for generationd new logins, delete logins and reset old login passwords.
Serveradmin:
- This Role Having The capacity of start and stop the services from perticular configure manager, memory Configurations, server settings,and switch of SQL server.
- To manage the configurations on the server it allows the users.
Sysadmin:
- It is the most previliage process on the server.
- Its having the capacity of doing anything on the server.
- only For the data base administrations having this role.
DBcreator:
- Taking backups and restore.
- He can alter and drop.
- This role is capable of creating databases.
Setupadmin:
- Inthis Process we can Run The setup, They are Mirroring And Replicationn
- This having the capacity of creating Linked server.
Bulkadmin:
- Capable to performing bulk inserts and updates.
